GBC-ing with style by Pierroguitar

Pierroguitar ( PierroLego 16 )has such a nice Lego creations but we are going to focus on its latests GBC modules.

Both has a perfect mix of design and function, including interesting mechanisms and excellent look.

The first one The rocking Escalator "controlled by a pirate captain of the space Is a very cool idea mixing the rocking "stairs" an a tilting bed, this combined mechanism is  fed by a pump system driven by an independent motor. Nice example of high grade of innovation in the mechanisms and not forgetting decoration and aesthetics in GBC development.

The second has TLOTR theme and will be very popular among the lovers of this theme, in this case the level of detail in the scenery is very high like the best vignettes had, representing moments of the book ( or the films)it has lots of TLOTR minifigs, PF lights and also includes spiral lift and "stairs" mechanisms perfectly integrates in the diorama that the module is itself.

It is truly a masterpiece

Need a GBC ball counter?

If you want a GBC ball counter and you don't have an NXT set or enough pieces to emulate the mechanical counter from NICO but you have a smartphone, you can do an invention like this:

LegoGBC has developed and presents this excellent module, it is basically a belt module with a device to count balls that is basically An arm that blocks the proximity sensor of the phone:

We may think that a machine made with Lego that moves balls from one side of it to other one can be smart, can be tricky and can be beauty or great looking, but one more time Akiyuky raises the level of engineering and good looking with this mesmerizing machine. I'm still not really sure if it is an optical illusion  a wizard or simply it's a smooth mechanism made by the best GBC builder in the world that made the most beautiful machines with Lego...

LEGO Biological GBC

Every new creation of Akiyuky is featured in this blog, why?

Because they are just awesome! They mix technic building, mechanism masterful, aesthetic look and superb presentation. As this new GBC module do.

As you will see in the video it has six "dragon" heads with their necks that bite the gbc balls, bend backwards and leave the ball from their mouths with the tongue, all driven with only one PFm motor.

Cause the limited speed of the mechanism the solution of multiply the number of moving heads is nice alternative, makes the module more visual and accomplish the standard speed of ball moving in LEGO gbc standards

Philip Verbeek has uploaded a video featuring a Lego GBC, mixing pneumatics and mechanic sequences, so smart details, ideas and mechanism uses, it makes me remember the creations of Sqiddster, the ball factory of Akiyuky or the creations of Superbird28. Quite nice loop.

How does it work?

"The principle is very simple. Between the power source and the 9v motor there's a switch it is connected to the two levers - the top and bottom. The additional rubber band causes the light moving lever moves it to the other side very quickly, so do not feel the moment when the switch is in the zero position. The platform in the down position opens another "goal" by pressing the lever and allows the balls get inside."

The Big Belt ^^

One of the several GBC creations of buzlamouche featured in his youtube channel is this "triple" belt module, with Pin Zig Zag descending ramp, simple, elegant and effective.

Great load capacity, curious motorisation method, and funny exit gate with that ramp. This kind of modules always where good to control the ball flux on the GBC circuits.

Introducing the Great Pin Contraption

All we know what GBC is ( Great Ball Contraption), but you know what is GPC? Yes it's almost the same but this machines uses different kinds of pins instead of balls, some of it where so cool, like this from pg5200, winner in a Setechnic contest.
